Saurin Choksi
is a comedian currently living in Chicago. You can catch him doing stand up all over the city and the surrounding areas. A co-founder of the improv/sketch groups "Six Month Suspension" & "Ghostman," Saurin was previously understudy to the Second City Detroit Theatre. He's also real affable.
Kenny Deforest
is a stand-up comedian, trained improviser, producer and self-annointed sex symbol hailing from Springfield, MO now based in Chicago, IL. Kenny's stand-up can be described as edgy, smart and honest, and his work ethic is often noted by his peers who have labeled him a "hustler". Since arriving in Chicago in early 2010, Kenny has rapidly become a local favorite. In fact, he was anointed "Favorite Newcomer of 2010" by comedyofchicago.com. Kenny now works local shows, frequent road gigs and runs a successful underground comedy show called "Speak Easy Comedy" that routinely sells out and books both local and national talent. 2011 is set to be a big year for Kenny and big things are expected of him by his peers, fans and, most importantly, himself.
Jeanie Doogan
burst onto the professional comedy scene in Chicago 2008, and has been making a scene ever since. Jeanie's humor ranges from sweet and nostalgic to edgy and adult themed. She has set herself apart with her quick observations and no-apology take on teaching, parenthood, and American culture. Jeanie has been featured in Time Out Chicago as a joke of the week selection. She has entertained audiences at colleges, casinos, and corporate events as well as legendary venues such as Zanies Comedy Club and Improv Chicago.
John McBride
Derek Smith
Despite being a bag of vices and complaints, Smith remains likable and lovable, like a smart, irritated Teddy Bear who makes poor life decisions. He's been described as disgusting and smart. He could probably write this generation's definitive dick joke in his sleep. He probably will, but only in between being a hundred kinds of funny, intelligent, and captivating. And when all the comparisons inevitably fail to describe what he's become, he stands as a different kind of animal entirely: one to be dissected, studied and thoroughly enjoyed.
Jeff Steinbrunner
is an Ohio native who has made his way to Chicago to continue his career in comedy. Starting stand up at his alma mater, Ohio University, Jeff began at Open Stage to then founding the university's first stand up club, OUSUCC.
